Starting Treatment

Patients must visit a dentist, before starting orthodontic treatment, for a cleaning and any necessary restorations. We ask that our patients continue to visit their dentist regularly while in braces. We do provide disposable tooth brushes and mouth wash for patients during appointments.

A full treatment case could last from 12-30 months, depending on each individual patient. Patient cooperation during treatment, (keeping scheduled appointments and good oral hygiene) could allow an early finish in treatment.

Appointments are usually scheduled 4 to 8 weeks apart. Our staff tries their best to accommodate patient’s appointments and personal schedule. Please give a 24 hour notice to cancel or reschedule appointments.

Patient Communication

We commonly hand out written updates for each patient. Updates include oral hygiene, starting elastics, etc. Please review these updates and speak with our assistants and Doctors with any concerns you may have.
